White Angels rejects a £40m bid for Sigurdsson as Swansea wants more from Everton.

The Iceland midfielder who made lots of assists and scored few freekicks for the Welsh based side have been rated highly in the ongoing transfer market.

Swansea City rejected £40m bid from Premier League rivals Everton for Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson.

A sum of £50m was the asking price for the 27-year-old, who scored nine goals for the struggling side last season.

Sigurdsson failed to travel with the club due to the transfer rumours and might not join the team for their summer tour of the United States.
