Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial were taken off injured in the Champions League defeat against Paris Saint-Germain.
Lingard was the first to be taken out shortly before half-time with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
Then Martial also got injured and did not reappear for the second half in a game Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got his first defeat as United’s caretaker manager.
Speaking after the game, Solskjaer said it was too early to say how long the pair would be out: “You don’t know, muscular injuries – hamstring, groin, so we’ll have to have a couple of days to assess them.
United would square up against Liverpool in the League and hope to come back to winning ways
