Thunder won’t strike in a place twice as Etebo hopes Argentina doesn’t win again against the Eagles and speaks on taming the Strikers.

Super Eagles Midfielder, Ogenekaro Etebo has come out to say lessons have been learnt so far during the Friendlies especially during the game against Argentina where they won by 4 – 2 after coming back from a two goal loss.

The Eagles have been dominant against Argentina in the friendlies, losing two and drawing one, and Etebo says those results have really brought out the best in the team’s preparation.

Nigeria defeated Argentina and Poland in their first two friendly games but lost to Serbia and England. Their only draw was against DR Congo.

“The friendly games we have played have exposed us so many things and also made us better,” he told CSN.

“We are in a tough group but we won’t be cowed by their big names. We are here to make our nation proud and we will achieve that.”

Nigeria will face Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in Group D.
