Real Madrid Defender, Marcelo set to Defend self over Tax Invasion.


Marcelo has been on the watch lately by The Tax Agency after the case of 2013 for possible tax offences related to 400,000 euros for the management of his rights through partnerships.

The current case started when the prosecutors for Economic Crimes, who will ultimately decide if their was a clear intent to defraud or not.

According to information in the newspaper El Mundo confirmed to EFE by the Prosecutor’s Office, the player declared the monies in 2015 through corporate tax, but the AEAT considers that it should have been done through IRPF.

This is in part because Marcelo was supposed to tax that amount as a non-legal person.
