SisQo and Elizabeth Pham are officially husband and wife!
The R&B singer has got married to his longtime girlfriend on Friday, August 17 in an intimate wedding ceremony, multiple sources have confirmed.
A representative for SisQo, whose real name is Mark Althavean Andrews, exclusively told media the couple exchanged the vows in an “an intimate Catholic service” in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ceremony.
Members of R&B group Dru Hill and Tao, who sang A Ribbon in the Sky as the bride and groom lit their unity candle, were among the guests who attended the newlyweds’ nuptials.
Speaking on the proposal in a podcast with US Weekly, SisQo revealed that he and Elizabeth have been dating on and off for 15 years but the decision to pop the question was solidified after they welcomed their daughter Koko in 2014.
On the proposal, he shared:
“I proposed and I got, like, a big, fat rock. I did it kinda cool, because I felt like our son [Ryu] was the one that kinda saved [us] … I sent him in with a ring box, and she looked into the box and didn’t see anything … She then went to look for me to figure out what’s going on. She came around the corner, and I was one knee and I asked her and she said ‘Yes!’”
At the time, the Thong Song singer also revealed that planning their wedding has “just kind been like a fairy tale.” He added that their wedding venue “was kinda like a castle-ish from the outside.”
Congratulations SisQo and Elizabeth!😍
