Pochettino prepares team against Real Madrid in a crunch Champions League tie.

Mauricio Pochettino is set to play the Defending Champions in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tottenham would hope to get the better of Madrid this time around after failing to score a single goal in four appearances against the Bernabeu side.

The focus would be on Ronaldo who scored his first League goal during the weekend against Getafe and he has been tipped to add to his four Ballon d’Or awards this year.

The Madrid’s all-time leading goalscorer has netted six goals in all competitions this term.

“He’s a very important player, but they have lots of very good players,” Pochettino said.

“The squad they have is amazing and they have a very good manager. They’re a fantastic club, but you need contributions from the whole squad to win titles.”

“Cristiano is like [Lionel] Messi, they have a huge impact on their team. He’s one of the best players in the world, it’s clear,” Pochettino added.
