Oshiomhole claims INEC informed PDP before postponing the elections

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has claimed that INEC informed the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of it’s intentions to postpone the elections before it did so.

Oshiomhole said this at the emergency caucus meeting of the APC held in Abuja on Monday following the postponement of the elections.

“I can put my hands on the quran and swear that INEC and its officials informed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, before postponing the election. The PDP were well acquainted with the plans to move to the elections. “This is why they did not receive the news with shock. They made us look like fools, because we were busy preparing for the elections while they were relaxing”, the former Edo state Governor claimed.

There have been several talks of who’s behind the postponement of the elections, and which party INEC is working with, if at all its working with any party.

However, the PDP is yet to react to this claim.
