The Portuguese was furious about the high fees paid by some clubs to buy players who don’t really worth that amount and says it’s a threat to football.
Jose Mourinho warned against the level of spending on players and says it has reached a “dangerous” level.
When asked about his club’s spending, he defended Manchester United’s own big-money transfers stressing the fact his team coughed out more than £120 million to sign Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof this window which is fair enough.
But some have pointed out the fact united smashed the transfer record to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus last August.
Mourinho said he thinks some other clubs will have problems when they realise the money coming in and the ones going out and also when they think about the Financial Fair Play.
