Jose Mourinho faults referee’s decision in allowing an offside goal put his team off the radar during last night loss to Madrid.

The Portuguese Manager left the stadium unhappy with the referee after he allowed Casemero offside goal stand hence causing his team the trophy in a game of this magnitude.

He also pointed out the fact that the absence of VAR system on the night was also a major reason his team lost in full time cause the referee would have seen reasons to disallow the goal.

Casemero’s goal came in the 24th minute and the Portuguese was seen complaining to the fourth official on the stands but the goal was awarded to Real Madrid and was later decisive in giving the Champions league winners another trophy in Skopje.

Isco later got the second goal for Madrid before new signing, Lukaku got his goal to reduce the deficit and also try to equalize but it ended that way.

But Jose Mourinho believes the match was balanced in terms of play on the pitch but his team would have forced an extra time if there was Video Assistant Replay(VAR) to check Casemiro’s offside decision.
