Femi Otedola has joined the Lagos state guber race under the PDP

If the claim by Media mogul Dele Momodu is anything to go by, then Oil magnet Femi Otedola may be in the running for governor of Lagos state.

Momodu, in a tweet on Tuesday, said that billionaire Femi Otedola has accepted an offer from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to run for office as Lagos state governor under the party.

“Breaking news: Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He’s accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper…,” Momodu tweeted.

Yesterday an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Lagos governorship election Jide Sanwoolu had gotten the support of all 57 LGA/LCDA chairmen in the state, which certainly is bad news for incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and now that Femi Otedola has joined the race, the Lagos state guber race has gotten even more interesting.

Otedola had recently endorsed Ambode for a second term.
