North London Outfit, Arsenal are so interested as never to make more signings under new manager, Emery after he said “if a big opportunity presents itself”.
Arsenal have already brought in their ranks the likes of Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner this summer, with Emery looking to reshape the squad in his own image.
Though the likes of Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla have been moved on and Emery says that, while he is happy with the club’s business, he would be willing to add another player to the squad.
“Normally in my career, the big clubs don’t close the [door] or the moment to sign a new player,” he told reporters.
“Today, we are OK. Maybe we can bring in one if there’s a very good possibility for them to help us, but the club has done a great job of signing new players and I am happy.”
And Emery believes that, while he would be happy to head into the Premier League season with his current group of players, they will be in a prime position to strike if a transfer “opportunity” comes up.
“We signed the players who we needed and only if one player is a big opportunity for us will we sign them,” he added.
