Not more than Nine people have been arraigned by the court in Italy for the alleged corruption leading to the building of the new Roma stadium.
No one from the club was involved in the investigation. Among those arrested was the stadium’s main constructor Luca Parnassi along with six of his colleagues.
Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said: “Those that have erred will pay we support legality.”
The stadium was first presented by Roma’s president James Pallotta in March 2014 when he announced it would be ready for the 2016-17 season.
