Antoine Griezmann has come out to say he would be at the club despite interest from the Catalonia side, Barcelona.
The Frenchman is under immense pressure with a move to Barcelona, while he kept a tight silence on the subject throughout France’s World Cup preparations.
The player spoke to his father and brother in the documentary screened by Movistar as they gave him advice on his next move.
“My fans, my team, my home,” he finally exclaimed in a message that was also released simultaneously on his Twitter page and shared by his relieved club. “They are doing everything they can to keep Atletico growing and so that they can play the Champions League final, hopefully at home in 2019.
They are making an effort to bring top players. This is going to make a difference.”
