Chelsea board relived as Antonio Conte signs a new two-year contract.

Conte has finally signed the two-year contract after days of stalling on it.

Rumours have it Conte wasn’t happy with the Premier League champions after unsatisfied with the transfer policy.

The Italian clamored for lots of players last season but got other players which wasn’t his choice and this season he is not ready to go through that.

The two-year contract was given to the Former Juventus and Italy head coach after he led Chelsea to glory in his first season in England’s top flight, with the Blues finishing seven points clear of Tottenham at the summit.

Conte told Chelsea’s official website: “I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. We worked extremely hard in our first year to achieve something amazing, which I am very proud of. Now we must work even harder to stay at the top.
